PSPaudioware – PSP 285 v1.0.0 VST, VST3, AAX x64

PSP 285 is based on our legendary plug-ins PSP 84 and PSP 85* delay. This is our latest exploration of the endless possibilities offered by variable sample rate delay lines.

It can create an extremely wide range of delay-based effects – from simple responses and echoes to complex rhythmic patterns, from accurate tape delay simulation to unusual pitch bending and resonant filtering effects – all with world-class sound quality.

Note: Due to many new features, the PSP 285 is not backwards compatible with the PSP 85, which will no longer be developed. The PSP 285 will not replace the PSP 85 when installed, but we recommend that you use the PSP 285 in your new and future projects.

  • Semi-modular architecture
  • Up to 10 seconds delay (up to + master) per channel, depending on internal sample rate
  • Pre-delay for each channel
  • Continuous control of delay time over delay time
  • Cross-channel feedback and independent channel settings
  • Channel binding mode
  • Delay Gating for greater control over the number and level of echoes
  • Stereo (L/R) or Mid-Side (M/S) modes of operation
  • Wet signal muting for improved sound clarity
  • Modulation section with tempo-locked LFO and envelope follower that can be mixed in any proportion.
  • Wide choice of envelope follower control signals in linked or dissimilar mode
  • 6 click-free LFO waveforms, plus variable LFO offset and phase channel spread
  • Choice of 17 different filter types with adjustable cutoff and resonance, and flexible routing options.
  • Post-filter or independently routed Drive algorithm with hard and soft saturation modes
  • Reverb module with multiple algorithms, including springs, plates, various gaps and reverse, available in both mono-stereo and dual-mono modes.
  • Flexible positioning of the reverb in the signal chain: dry, processed, or mixed processed + unprocessed delay output.
  • Mixer settings can be saved to each preset or applied to any preset selected in global mode.
  • Wet mode switch for use in sends
  • Control signal filtering for smooth, click-free operation
  • High-quality 64-bit floating point signal path and unique proprietary processing algorithms
  • Sample rates up to 384kHz supported
  • Nearly 400 presets
