Output Arcade is a cloud based loop tool. A new approach to working with samples. Output has released an unusual synthesizer called Output Arcade. The instrument has an interesting approach to the principles of working with virtual synthesizers.
The Arcade sound is based on loops from the cloud library, accessed via a paid subscription ($ 10 / mo). After starting the synthesizer, the user selects a set of sounds and begins to independently shape the sound of the instrument. You can change the sound with 11 built-in effects and modulation capabilities.
Further work with the synthesizer also differs from the usual scheme, in which the keys of a MIDI keyboard play the same sound with a semitone rise. Instead, the white keys are responsible for triggering various loops, and the black keys change their sound.
The loops in the cloud library are accessed through the built-in browser. All content is divided into three categories (Product Lines, Kits, Loops), and you can search for suitable sounds by tags or keywords.
Several sets of sounds are supplied with the synthesizer (Kits, 15 loops in each). There is no point in talking about their universality: the developers focus on the ability to create a synthesizer for themselves based on the proposed loops. If there are no suitable sounds in the catalog, the user can import their own content and process it using Arcade tools.
The ARCADE LiBRARY CONTENT folder contains the libraries for the instrument in zip archives. You DO NOT need to unpack them! This is a prerequisite for successful library import.

Next, I have followed all instructions to the letter (including fixing ownership/permissions).
Yes the /etc/hosts required entries are all in place and point to 127.0.0.1
However, after restarting it still prompts for a Login using email/password. (I used the default api-user.xml file).
Can you please help me overcome this last step? 🙂

Why it is offline? I cannot use lines or add favorites. I imported all the library but it is not useful. I can go to search button only. So uncomfortable. Have an idea to fix it?

Purchase a license from Output and you will be able to search and access all of the cloud resources that are for customers/licensees (paid customers). I’m sure you will be more comfortable with it’s expected operation and performance…. you could even create a service ticket with their Help Desk.

They work very well with me.
I manage to import the different lines with the little software but when I open Arcade, I cannot see the “Lines”: Arcade asks me to connect to the internet. I can just play the Samples Kits or Note Kits by going through the “search” menu which is really restrictive. Is there a solution or methods to find all the presets from the same bank?

But effectively, since the download come with a tons of library, and as always I installed everything ( 😀 ) and now, its incredibly difficult to find anything since there’s no “research system” in this software. Beside scrolling and trying things (which is finally okay :p).
Is there a thing we missed or it’s just the cracking system that make it impossible?
