how do you install the libraries? i installed play 6 but can’t get it to run without installing the library,i did Copy “Previews”, “ProductChunks”, “products” folders to “%PROGRAMDATA%\East West\”. is there something i’m missing?

Visual C++ Redistributable Packages for Visual Studio 2013

and then install the Play, after that it works
A mi tampoco me funciona . He instalado Visual C++ Redistributable Packages for Visual Studio 2013 , instalado el Play , copiado las carpetas , pero abro el Play 6 y me encuentro con esto :
Missing product parts . Could not find product bundles . Reinstall Play to fix problem .
Lo hago todo otra vez pero nada . Help please .
The same to me! reinstalled all 3 times and the same error message: Missing product parts . Could not find product bundles . Reinstall Play to fix problem.

To avoid the error. Do not click the exe right away you will need to go to the folder where you put your library content and right click the ewus and ewui files (it ask you what do you want to associate this file with YOU WANT TO point it to play 6 so find that program exe file …you can use the one on the desktop) double click one of those files after you have done this and you will have an error message click ok to dismiss the box.
The whole point is to get pass the original error message and do a backdoor install… go to the browser tab like it says (in the written instructions contained in your downloaded library to install the library) go to Browser tab. now you are able to follow the directions from this point
Right-click in an empty space in the left column of the Browser tab,
and choose “Add Another Product Library” from the pop-up window.
Locate the “Instruments” folder of the library
I have troubleshooted this in a working daw and no issues all runs smoother than you can believe and better than the original as it says… great job all the way enjoy…

If you are trying to add the library using the open command on the database window then it will give you that error. You have to load it in the library tab click an empty space it says add another product library and then point to the actual Library folder you want to add.
Where do I find the library tab?
Can some one please email me personally to help me with this? Much appreciated. Have been trying to install the libraries and open the Play Engine but to no effect.

I get this error: Play could not find — “the sample path”—. This is likely caused by an improper installation. What can I do? I have reinstalled Play tons of time and made all the process.

I still am getting the error “Missing Product Parts”. I installed correctly, reinstalled correctly, moved library to my HDD, set the .ewui and .ewus to open with PLAY and I still cannot get to the browser section. Im blocked by the Missing Product Parts error. Can anyone help me with this? None of the comments so far have solved the issue. Am I doing something wrong?
hola gente…a mi me pasa lo mismo..ya reisntale el visual micrisoft 2013…borre los registros. segui el mismo procedimiento de las bibliotecas y me da el error que faltan archivos en la instalacion….lo hago correr en windows 7 Spack 1…la verdad si alguien le encontro la vuelta se los agradeceria!!! muchas gracias

If you copy everything mentioned in the Info to the correct Location it will work like a charm.
“Copy “Previews”, “ProductChunks”, “products” folders to “%PROGRAMDATA%\East West\”.
(notice it needs to be in %PROGRAMDATA%\East West\ not in any other folder)
Copy library to HDD.
Run R2R PLAY app, go to Browser tab.
Right-click in an empty space in the left column of the Browser tab,
and choose “Add Another Product Library” from the pop-up window.
Locate the “Instruments” folder of the library.
