Transient shaping has become a vital technique in music mixing. The ability to sharpen or soften the onset of a sound and lengthen or shorten the decay have been very helpful in giving each sound the right size and position in the mix.
The Transient Shaper takes this concept one step further, allowing the user to influence either the entire frequency range – as most similar instruments do – or the high or low frequencies individually.
