Anne Kroeber and the late Alan Splet were extremely influential figures in the development of the creative use of sound in film. Their unique work in sound effects recording and sound design can be heard in dozens of famous films such as The Black Stallion, Blue Velvet, and Dune, as well as in collaborations with directors such as David Lynch, Peter Weir, Philip Kaufman, and Carol Ballard.
Since then, Kroeber has worked on creating soundtracks for many films, television shows, and games, including six films.
