UPDATE: Rolling to version 12.3.2.3617 did not work at all, neither through setup nor through the Update
1 folder. I backed up the settings, added a password to save everything – deleted 12.3.2.3617 – installed 12.3.2.2.4854 and everything was caught, the Menu – Update button updated all VM components.
Why the update was started:
This update has a very dangerous security bug that forces a standard user to have administrator access, so please update as soon as possible.
This update will be used for versions 12.3 with the ISO patch file and the new full version installation.
Make sure to run the Setup file as an administrator to ensure the least amount of trouble with the update.
Please make sure to back up your software before updating.
To update, first stop all software services, replace the original DLL, remove the license from the registry, then proceed with the update.
So, as before, we stop the Vim services, replace the DLL from the folders, start the Vim services – select the file with the license.
There are 2 images in the distribution: one for a clean installation and the second for updating current versions.
