  • Control your stereo image and add natural width
using Mid/Sides mode and flexible channel layout
  • Add sparkle and glue to any mix, no matter the style
  • Shape curves for perfect pick-up and movement
  • Tailor every detail of your compression to perfectly suit your material
  • Tackle complex challenges holistically, with the highest possible precision and accuracy

Key Features

Exceptionally Clean Compression One of Unisum’s most compelling features is its incredibly clean compression. With extremely low intermodulation distortion and virtually no digital aliasing, Unisum is on par with high-end analog gear. Combined with music level detection, program-specific envelopes and smooth gain reduction, Unisum delivers transparent compression that’s ideal for program material that demands the highest fidelity. Wideband Compression with Multiband Control At the heart of Unisum is a unique multiband detection channel that provides enormous control. The side chain is divided into 3 frequency ranges, each equipped with parallel RMS and peak sensors. The result is efficient yet flexible music level monitoring, allowing you to tailor the response to perfectly match any track. You can also adjust the frequency-dependent threshold, ratio, and attack/release. All without destructive transients in the audio path. Complete Creative Control Unlike automated “AI” tools and overly simplistic all-in-one compressors, Unisum provides granular control that allows you to precisely respond to what your ears and emotions tell you to produce the most impressive sound. Adjust attack and release curves and set specific time intervals for transients. Shape the transfer curve. Filter and limit channel connections, and more. Use it when you need it.

Unisum stays clean until you tell it not to. Turn on the HYGGE circuit to add power to the mastering-grade transformer and tube driver. HYGGE, which is highly level- and frequency-dependent by nature, adds a subtle weight and thickness to any sound. With the memory effect, you can mimic the software-dependent behavior of optical compressors or modify it to get a completely different feel. Or you might want to increase the RMS detector speed for minimal results.
