MELISMA v1.0.10
A typical converter fits a phrase to a semitone grid and loses exactly what it was played for. MELISMA first traces the pitch as a continuous line and only then cuts it into notes, so slides, melismas, and quarter-tone steps reach MIDI rather than disappear. Designed for duduk, clarinet, zurna, voice, and saxophone.
E-302 v1.0.3
Most tape plugins emulate tape in general. This one emulates the ELECTRONIKA 302-1, a portable monophonic cassette recorder. The numbers are specified in the datasheet and schematic: 63 Hz to 10 kHz, 0.4% flutter, 44 dB signal-to-noise ratio, 4.76 cm/s speed, Type I tape, 120 µs pre-emphasis.
Olimp-005C v1.0.9
The Soviet reel-to-reel Olimp MPC-005C was a hi-fi device. It was never a saturator. The internals were disassembled, including the recording amplifiers, the bias, the tape, and the heads, and reassembled into an exclusive saturator that never existed. It features soft tape saturation, natural peak compression, two speeds, flutter, noise, and mains hum.
