Acoustic bass. Vintage Ovation Acoustic Bass recorded directly onto Revox A77 tape with 15 IPS. A very nice vintage acoustic bass guitar sound.
We took a studio approach and recorded the right channel directly and the left channel into a mic to get that nice stereo sound. We also added a string an octave higher to give the baritone sound a higher register.
