Evolution Vintage Gent is an exquisite mid-range electric guitar 60s with hollow body. One of the iconic sounds of the British Invasion, the model guitar we took as a reference was originally released a decade earlier as a collaboration between Gretsch and Chet Atkins, the legendary guitarist, record producer and pioneer of the Nashville sound.
This guitar represents the golden age of rock and roll, country and rockabilly. This was a period when guitarists started turning up the volume and steps had to be taken to reduce feedback while retaining the extra body for tone that a hollow body design provides over a solid body guitar.
The two guitar pickups were recorded as separate signals, which can be mixed to your liking in the sample library interface. So you can get anything from a ringing bridge pickup to a powerful neck pickup and everything in between.
We developed the library in collaboration with Rosewood Recording Company, one of the most respected recording studios in Utah. Guy Randle, owner and sound engineer of the Rosewood Recording Company, included analog audio equipment to skilfully give the guitar a rich tone and emphasize it. Evolution Vintage Gent includes both a recorded signal and an amplified signal.
Evolution Vintage Gent is based on our Evolution engine, which provides you with many features: an innovative game pattern editor, automatic chord detection and a vast collection of built-in effects. If you have used any of our guitar or bass libraries that use the Evolution engine, its interface and workflow will be very familiar to you.
The library includes many ready-to-use factory presets for classic-sounding clean and crisp guitar tones.

• The articulations have 3 dynamics, 2 pick directions (when applicable), and 2x round-robin.
