Orange Tree Samples Evolution Mellow Mando v1.3.5 is a KONTAKT library for Windows and Mac that offers a diverse range of mandolin tones suited to a variety of purposes and musical styles.
The debut mandolin library, Evolution Mandolin, delivers a bright, energetic sound that adds drive to your arrangement and stands out in the mix. With Evolution Mellow Mando, the emphasis shifts toward warmer, earthier tones.
The samples were recorded on a pristine 1917 Style A mandolin. Its tone is surprisingly rich and expressive, as one would expect from an instrument made over a century ago.
When recording the mandolin, its entire dynamic range was meticulously reproduced. When playing quietly, you will hear the light sound of the pick sliding across the strings. When playing loudly, you will hear a rich, woody sustain.
