Lemur Audio – SIMON v1.7.8 is an OP-AMP emulation plugin for Windows. The new version of SIMON adds a mathematically perfect op-amp model from the mastering equalizer with three L/R matrix modes.
Three L/R Matrix Modes
EQUAL: Both channels have the same harmonic structure.
MODERN: Each channel has a slightly different harmonic structure.
VINTAGE: Each channel has a noticeably different harmonic structure.
Two Saturation Models
OP-AMP: Matches the hardware.
OP-AMP LP (Linear Phase): The same circuit but with phase-shift elimination in the high frequency range.
DIGITAL: SIMON’s original pure saturation.
OP-AMP and OP-AMP LP operate in HQ and ULTRA modes, ensuring guaranteed sound quality and purity. Additional nonlinear effects have also been modeled to add dynamics, liveliness, and musicality to the entire system, surpassing hardware equivalents.
