Kush Audio – Omega 2 N v1.0.1 is a distortion plugin for Windows that delivers the familiar distortion of a venerable British console circuit, fundamentally reworked to soften the angular resonances. The result is weighty lows, distinct steely highs, and low mids that remain tight until they transition into a familiar, dense sound. The overall effect is sonic déjà vu: direct, rich, and unmistakably rock and roll without the metallic ringing to spoil the experience.
As the intensity increases, the Model N reorganizes the low frequencies, placing the fundamental frequency just below the second harmonic. The result is a warm, tight bass that sounds louder but takes up less space in the mix. At higher gains, it reproduces the characteristic sound associated with a certain percentage of snaps recorded in the early to mid-1970s.

Intensity
As you increase the intensity, each Omega symbol gradually becomes clearer and then, if you continue pressing, it begins to glow.
Phase
Changes the phase of the plugin’s output signal.
-20 dB Pad
Activating the -20 dB pad attenuates the input signal by -20 dB and boosts the output signal by +20 dB, giving the Omega an additional 20 dB of headroom. This allows for a wider range of subtle effects before more serious distortion sets in, especially with initially high-level input signals.
High-Pass and Low-Pass Filters

Select the steepness of the given filter.
HI-PASS
Adjusts the cutoff frequency of the high-pass filter from 20 Hz to 5 kHz.
LO-PASS
Adjusts the cutoff frequency of the low-pass filter from 40 Hz to 22 kHz.
XY Control Points
These simultaneously control both filters. Horizontal movement along the X-axis increases or decreases the cutoff frequency of the low-pass filter. Vertical movement along the Y-axis increases or decreases the cutoff frequency of the high-pass filter.
Makeup and Blend
BLEND
Mixes the dry input signal with the processed signal.
MAKEUP
Increases or decreases the gain of the signal after distortion, before mixing.
XY Control
Allows you to simultaneously control Blend and Makeup, as if you were adjusting analog gear with both hands. Horizontal movement increases or decreases the Blend after distortion, while vertical movement increases or decreases the Makeup gain.
