inMusic Brands – BFD3 3.4.4.31 Standalone, VSTi, AAX x64

BFD3 is the third generation of FXpansion’s flagship acoustic drum software: a new level of realism and innovative features in a redesigned intuitive engine.

With stunning new kits, pre-made mix presets, and modeling technology for toms and cymbals, BFD3 delivers uncompromising detail. The updated interface has a new mixer and a browser for sounds and presets, which makes working with BFD even easier.

The new BFD3 library is designed to provide a diverse range of drum sounds out of the box. Andrew Scheps, Rail Jon Rogut and John Emrich took part in its recording. The recording was made in 2 rooms to create a varied sound atmosphere, using sticks and brushes.

  1. There is not audio coming out from this program as stand alone or VST. I installed two library because I though, well may be I do not have any libraries , but it did not work either. I can see the midi notes been played but there is not audio.

  2. Its seems to me that its not installing the dll files from it not reconsigned windows32 and POW64 dll files….Hmm I had to download the ones its not recognizing. not understand why its not intsalling these. any help would be grateful. cheers

  3. Despite the horsepower of my desktop machine, I’ve consistently reached dead end point with a couple different versions of BFD. The installation of libraries consistently resulted in a huge mess of paths and complaints about locations of samples, etc. I’ve no recollection of actual use of it, but plenty of weeding and uninstalls.
However, what’s “insanity” without a repeated behavior and expecting different results?
