Blue Cat’s Protector – stereo brickwall limiter with adjustable dynamic response. Usually it finds its place on the main bus of your DAW to protect the audio signal from overload, limit the overall volume and improve the perceived volume due to the very transparent frequency response and bowhead function.
Despite a very simple set of controls, it offers a wide range of options and is also suitable as a track limiter for more creative effects such as distortion, pumping or strong limiting. Its large, colorful meters, as well as its custom speaker histogram, provide excellent visual feedback and make it an ideal tool for monitoring and controlling dynamics on the main bus. You can also check in real time the volume increase obtained with the limiter.
In addition to the powerful dynamic processing functions and, like most of our plugins, Blue Cat’s Protector also offers an original side chain thanks to the MIDI CC output. This unique method allows you not only to have a side chain limiter, but also to modulate parameters: control any parameter of any plug-in to create powerful side chain effects in real time.
