Tulip contains emulations based on extremely rare hardware units built by a famous Dutch multinational company that has created and acquired several record labels over the years.
They had a habit of renaming the sound consoles they designed and created depending on which label was using them, so it’s not surprising to find versions of the same console that were named after -different.
We’ve taken the best features of these sought-after classic consoles and combined them into Tulip. Any audio engineer will be captivated by the unique capabilities of this one-of-a-kind set of plugins.
Tulip EQ
Two switchable equalizers with HP-LP filters, plus three different preamps.
Tulip Comp
Solid-state VCA compressor/limiter with four different switchable dynamics emulations: the original model called Comp, the “Frankenstein” mode created by Acustica called Ultracomp based on our Hyper compression technology, two different brickwall limiters, as well as compressor preamp emulation.
Tulip Pre
16 line preamps, 16 mic preamps and 16 user preamps.
Tulip Channel Strip
Two switchable passive equalizers, VCA compressor/limiter with 4 different switchable modes; plus a full preamp section for a total of 38 preamps (16 line, 16 mic and 6 user emulations).
All files were taken from the Acustica Audio release from R2R and repackaged as an installer to facilitate installation/removal and save hard drive space.
