ACTION STRIKES is a cinematic percussion library built for powerful, dramatic, and high-impact orchestral music. Following the success of ACTION STRINGS, it brings together detailed live percussion ensembles with an easy-to-use interface, making it simple to create big soundtrack-style rhythms.
The library includes 12 full percussion ensembles, 65 individual instruments, and 12 specially created Hit Sets. Each ensemble has its own character and was recorded to capture the energy and impact of a live percussion performance.
You can mix the high, middle, and low sections from different ensembles to create your own combinations. With more than 1,700 possible sound combinations, there is plenty of room to build unique percussion arrangements.
Performance & Control
ACTION STRIKES is designed for real-time performance. Key switches let you change rhythms and variations while playing, with the left hand controlling accents and the right hand selecting different variations.
The modulation wheel can take your performance from a subtle rumble to a massive cinematic crescendo, while the pitch wheel lets you adjust accent intensity. You can also add fills, rolls, and flams directly to your arrangements for more movement and impact.
Instead of relying on fixed loops, ACTION STRIKES gives you 105 different rhythms that can be combined and customized. Each ensemble section includes five variations, giving you plenty of options for creating everything from simple rhythmic backing to huge cinematic percussion sequences.
The library also includes 65 individual percussion instruments with 32 playable rhythms and 12 playable single-hit sets, making it useful for detailed sound design as well as full orchestral arrangements.
