Plugin Alliance – TBTECH Kirchhoff-EQ v1.7.1 VST, VST3, AAX x64

Equalizer will never be the same again. Kirchhoff-EQ is a superb 32-band parametric equalizer designed for mission-critical professional applications. It features exquisite sound quality, analog modeled curves, ultra-low distortion dynamics processing, 15 filter types (with smoothly variable shapes) and 32 vintage EQ types that emulate real devices.

Highest sound quality:

Thanks to the “Robust Nyquist-matched Transform”, the Kirchhoff-EQ has made its digital frequency response closer to the analog one, without the high-frequency “cramps” that occur in conventional IIR (infinite impulse response) equalizers.

High-precision processing:

By default, the Kirchhoff-EQ works in 64-bit mode, but in order for the internal processing precision to reach 117 bits, a technique called “Double-Double” is used! It is the first equalizer in the world to achieve such precision. A technology called “Psychoacoustic Adaptive Filter Topologies” allows the filter structures to intelligently change themselves to a state of “best match”, which leads to optimized sound quality without compromise in low or high frequencies.

A Complete Palette of Analog and Digital Filter Types:

Kirchhoff-EQ includes 15 unique filter types, ranging from the usual low-pass, high-pass, bell and shelving to the more esoteric flat slope, flat top and sword filters. Take advantage of 9 carefully selected vintage EQ models and fully variable EQ points not found in the analog domain.

Selectable Phase Modes:

To accommodate all your phase relationship needs, Kirchhoff-EQ’s phase mode switches between zero-latency mode, analog mode, linear phase mode and the original mixed phase mode, which uses zero-latency when the band’s frequency point is low and uses linear phase when it is high.

Deep and Powerful Dynamic EQ Capabilities:

Kirchhoff-EQ’s dynamics handling isn’t just a bonus, it’s some of the richest dynamics capabilities you’ve ever seen. With dual thresholds, adjustable “onset” control, and a relative definition option, you can do what other EQs simply can’t: Simultaneously compress and expand to help “stabilize” a given frequency. EQ transients separately from the body. Or effectively connect one frequency band to dynamic activity in another. Even vintage-modeled curves can be applied to the dynamics processing.

Endless possibilities and intuitive operation:

Kirchhoff-EQ has every feature imaginable in an EQ, including spectrum capture, oversampling, lookahead, mid processing and monitoring, stereo width, global EQ scaling, and more, all optimized for ultra-low CPU load.

  • Powerful EQ: 32 bands and 15 unique filter types.
  • Accurate models of 9 vintage hardware EQs.
  • Robust dynamics handling with two-way thresholds, relative detection mode, and onset control.
  • 5 selectable phase modes.
  • Oversampling, lookahead, global gain scaling, midrange processing, stereo width control, high bit precision, and more.

Bug Fixes:

  • Fixed an issue where adjusting parameters in Linear Phase mode would cause loud popping sounds.
  • Fixed an issue where enabling Lookahead would cause crashes in some cases.
  • Fixed an issue where the vertical axis would not display correctly on the Spectrum Analyzer in some cases.
  • Fixed an issue where the menu bar could block the window after going full screen on some Macs.
  • Fixed an issue where dialogs would not display correctly in some cases.
  • Fixed an issue where the About page would not display correctly under certain conditions.

Optimizations:

  • Left, Right, Middle, and Side can now be selected as the default stereo mode.
  • The alt key now appears as option in preferences on the Mac version.
