XTComp has different ratios, each functioning as a separate compressor with its own attack, release and knee characteristics. sidechain filter options on the XTComp allow it to suppress low-frequency rumble, delivering punchy detail and smooth analogue sound. By adding a saturation circuit with analogue modeling, XTComp allows you to add tape-like harmonics and high-frequency compression to your recordings. Soften fragile, thin and harsh sounds by infusing them with analog warmth.

Kiive Audio has taken this compressor to the next level with plugin-only options. Dual mixing knobs are provided for the compressor and saturator modules, allowing for parallel processing. A Gain Link switch has also been added, making A/B comparisons and level matching easier.
