IMPORT YOUR OWN AUDIO / CREATE CUSTOM WAVETABLES WITH EASY:
Serum has a built-in Wavetable editor – you can create your own tables in a variety of ways. Import audio directly from audio files – Serum has many methods and options for analyzing audio and separating it into individual waveforms. Of course, you can import individual tables or several at once (with built-in options for sorting or manually changing the order). Morph between different wavetables using standard linear interpolation (crossfading) or using harmonic/spectral morphing. Draw directly on the waveform, with the ability to snap to grid size and various tools for creating shapes. Generate or modify waveforms using FFT (additive). Create or process waveforms using formula functions. The processing menu options allow you to perform other tasks such as applying fades, crossfades, normalization, export, and more.
ULTRA-CLEAR OSCILLATORS:
Reproducing wavetables requires digital resampling to reproduce different frequencies. Without extreme care and a lot of number crunching, this process will result in audible artifacts. Artifacts mean that you are (perhaps unknowingly) overloading your mix with unwanted tones/frequencies. Many popular waveform synthesizers do a shockingly poor job of suppressing artifacts – even at high-quality settings, some produce artifacts ranging from -36 dB to -60 dB (the difference between fundamental and artifact levels) that are clearly audible, and what’s more, are often canceled out in the process the highest desired frequencies to try to suppress this unwanted sound. In Serum, oscillator playback in native mode (default) operates with ultra-precise oversampling, resulting in astonishingly inaudible S/N (e.g. -150dB on a sawtooth played back at 1KHz at 44100)! This requires a lot of computation, so Serum’s oscillator playback has been aggressively optimized using SSE2 instructions to provide this high-quality playback without taxing your CPU any more than a typical (decent quality) soft synth would. Download Serum and we think you’ll be able to notice both what you hear (tight highs extending just to the limit of audibility) and what you don’t (no unwanted dirt or aliasing gibberish – just good, clear sound )

WHAT DO I TYPE IN MY HOSTS FILE to block serum? Please respond to this as it will help me and other users because directions are not in the “readme”.
So is it just me or does everyone have the problem when i have to reenter this code every time I close Ableton and reopen it?? Its definitely becomes a PITA after about the 5th time i have to re-register 10 instances of Serum in my projects…

C:\Program Portable\ <— Here is where I place my portable programs such as this, I create a shortcut so I can place it on my start menu or desktop and can use it again. You can also add other Portable Programs here conveniently and repeat this process with other portable programs as well.
Step 1. When you open Blue Life Host Editor, look for a button to the far right that looks like a paper, that will change the view of the way you see and edit the hosts, you can click it again to change it back if you'd like. After you edit hosts, you will notice it has a green check, that means it is actively blocked.
Step 2. Now that you have done all of that, now copy and paste into the text field at the bottom.

Step 3. Click file at the top left, and now click save. This program is pretty easy to use, I just create a folder in my C:\Program Portable\ <— And here is where I place

This is a Firewall called Portmaster, if you invest around 5 minutes of your time on how to use this thing it will definitely be well worth your time, not just for this post, but for past and future VST's / Plugins as well. This knowledge is essential.
Also, be aware of what VPN you are using, make sure you are checking if they participate in the 5, 9, 14 eyes alliances, if they do, stop using that VPN immediately. Spread awareness of this to others as well.

I’m new to pirating but i blocked serum in terminal (on mac btw) but how do i “Install Serum and use the serial number from KEYS.txt.”
use the .DMG arquive that u downloaded, then open your DAW > open serum there and put the KEY
