The traverso flute appears as early as the 12th century. Its heyday, however, was the baroque period, after which it was largely superseded by the concert flute as we know it today. The instrument was recorded in the relatively dry and controlled environment of our second studio, the Silent Stage, and rutracker offers all common articulations.
