Fluidity’s sonic explorations evoke a sense of natural movement and calming beauty, dazzling with little lights of technical wizardry and Simon’s unique attention to detail.
Smoothness is organized into 7 categories including electronics, hammers, sequencer, soundscapes, strings, water and brass. Explore lush pads, sparkling arpeggios, moving leads, incredible soundscapes, textured sounds and more. Additionally, each patch contains 7 to 12 macros, allowing for deep customization, performance, and sonic range. Make large or small changes to your strokes and quickly find the perfect balance for your composition.
As with all Falcon expansions, Fluidity gives you the ability to dig beneath the surface of each sound’s patch structure, manipulate it, and change it however you see fit. Great care was taken into each preset, with Simon writing detailed notes for all 111 patches. Get insight into the design of each sound, as well as explanations of the purpose of macros and more.
The quality is evident throughout this collection. Simon used numerous synthesis and sound design techniques with heavy use of effects and modulators. All sounds can be quickly previewed, edited, layered, or performed with virtually limitless variations thanks to Falcon’s semi-modular architecture and rich library.
The Fluidity extension leverages the advanced synthesis capabilities and architecture of Falcon’s software, which features 20 oscillators, over 100 effects, and a fast and intuitive interface that skillfully handles both basic tasks and deep instrument design. All presets are programmed with macros that provide the user with easy access to the key parameters of each patch. They can be controlled via MIDI, OSC, host automation and Lua scripts, allowing for easy setup and expressive performance capabilities.
