free Saturation Knob plugin is a simulated output distortion that can be used wherever you need a little graininess. Use it to spice up bass lines, add harmonics and shimmer to vocals, or just break up a drum loop.
One large knob and one small switch. Three modes – Keep High, Neutral and Keep Low – give you three types of distortion character. If you want to compress the drum loop but still keep it generally intact, you can, for example, use the Keep Low mode, while Keep High distorts the low frequencies more, keeping the high frequencies relatively clear.
