- Place both of these files (Nexus3.39.dll and regkey.dat) in the VST plugin directory.
- Place the reFX folder in C: \ Users \ Public \ Documents
- Change the current path to the sound library:
“library_folder”: “R: \ MUSIC-LIBRARY \ MUSIC-EXE \ Nexus3.39 \ NEXUS library

They don’t work because its missing the core sample library and its 160 gigs.

What about the expansions?

you install the presets into the presets folder..BUT u also need the samples for each expansion otherwise you will get no sound from the presets…

Nexus doesnt load the samples folder which includes expansions. It only loads the presets folder. How to load the sample folder?
Where is the Nexus content folder? Do I just create one in Program Files or where?
I didn’t get any .exe file that would create it upon installation, so do I have to create it manually?
The instructions are pretty bad to be frank, I am very proficient with computers but these instructions are just all over the place. Can someone make another comprehensible guide with steps?

I tried editing the “settings.json” file but I can’t seem to get it right. I don’know what exactly to edit In or out on the ” library_folder”: “R: \ MUSIC-LIBRARY \ MUSIC-EXE \ Nexus3.39 \ NEXUS library” text, can you please make me understand with an example my preset folder path is “D:\Program files\Nexus Content Folder\Nexus Library”

it says “presets not available. please install them from the refx nexus cloud app. ” I have pasted everything in the instructed place. i have alsochanged the library folder in the json file to my current location of the nexus content folder, i.e. D:\ reFX Nexus 3\ Nexus content. what am i doing wrong ? i have nexus 3 opening in my DAW but no presets whatsoever.
I found the main problem. first of all put the folder with the json file in the documents folder of the Public user folder only. otherwise it’ll ask for activation. secondly, in the json file, PLEASE ENSURE USING DOUBLE \\ INSTEAD OF SINGLE \ otherwise it will NOT detect the library folder. whoever posted this crack thanks a ton but you seriously need to up your instruction game. Lastly, please ensure that the registered key file and the DLL file are together otherwise no matter what you do it will ask for activation.
