STRIKEFORCE is the flagship Laboratory Audio’s cinematic percussion library aimed at professional composers who require a highly expressive and fast workflow. Recorded, mixed and produced in Los Angeles, STRIKEFORCE centers around contemporary large ensemble percussion sound for film.
The library includes an extensive assortment of massive drum ensembles, small drum ensembles, and solo percussion, all with a layout that allows the user to move from a smaller ensemble sound (or even a solo) to a large band/large ensemble sound within a single patch.
There are 115 patches with this unique and very cool layout, recorded using 6 split dynamic layers and 16 looping loops. The library also includes an assortment of Anvil hits, solo and ensemble, sub-booms, drum hits and metal tik-toks (32 hours), for a total of 129 unique patches.
We’ve focused our efforts on creating practical and musical mixes rather than presenting multiple microphone positions that consume system resources and slow down your workflow.
The library features two carefully selected complete mixes that blend seamlessly together and can be controlled using the mod wheel. “Close Mix” for a tight, dynamic room, and “Far Mix” for a wider, more epic cinematic sound that covers most of the room.
Both mixes work seamlessly together and can be easily manipulated using the modulation wheel for closer or more distant sounds. We’ve taken great care to create a very dynamic and playable instrument that will fit perfectly into film scores and deliver great sound right out of the box.
