Boz Digital Labs – Pan Knob 2 v2.0.8 VST VST3 AAX

Pan Knob 2 is the best way to pan your tracks. It ensures reliable stereo positioning on headphones
with natural spatial depth. Pan Knob enhances the sound of your mix on all playback systems.

Pan Knob 2 is worthy of your mix
Introducing Pan Knob 2, a smarter way to deliver realistic, clear panning across all playback systems.

Regular panning buttons don’t work on headphones, causing instruments to sound unnatural or painfully one-sided.
Pan Knob 2 solves this problem with crossover and delay modes that preserve spatial characteristics
and give your mix a grounded feel.

Whether you’re adjusting the panning of mono sources or balancing stereo tracks,
Pan Knob 2 provides precise control over panning, stereo system behavior, and spatial placement.
Your stereo field will never sound the same again.

Pan Knob 2 also gives you
Precise Stereo Control

  • Pan and Balance modes: Adapt stereo sound to mono or stereo sources.
  • Selectable Pan Level: Choose between Linear, 3dB, 4.5dB, or 6dB to ensure a consistent level across the entire stereo field.

Spatial Enhancement Tools

  • Crossfade Mode: Crossfade only the high frequencies for a more natural headphone image.
  • Delay Mode: Add subtle timing offsets to simulate real-world spatial characteristics.
  • Combo Modes: Use crossfade and delay together to enhance realism and depth.
  • Mono button to test mono compatibility

Key changes in version 2

Center Gravity Algorithm:
This is a major innovation. Now, when panning an instrument, you can keep the low frequencies (bass) strictly centered.
This allows you to “move” guitars or synths without shifting the foundation of the mix or tilting the volume balance to one side.

Micro-Delay (Precedence Effect):
An algorithm based on the delay between channels (the Haas effect) has been added. This creates a more natural sense of space,
mimicking how the human ear determines the direction of sound in a real room, rather than simply changing the volume on the speakers.

Width Control:
A fully functional width control has been added. You can narrow a stereo signal to mono or widen it before sending it
to the desired panning point.

Pan Law Selection :
Various volume compensation settings are available for moving from the center to the edges (0dB, -3dB, -4.5dB, -6dB),
allowing the plugin to behave identically to your DAW’s mixer.

New vector interface:
Completely redesigned graphical user interface (GUI) that can be freely scaled to any monitor resolution.

Native Apple Silicon support:
Full compatibility with M1, M2, M3, and M4 processors without the need for Rosetta.
