Install Ableton Live 12 Suite Installer.exe

Place the vcruntime140_1.dll file in the folder with the installed program
(By default C:\ProgramData\Ableton\Live 12 Suite\Program)

IMPORTANT!
NEVER try to place the vcruntime140_1.dll file in system32 !!!

Run Ableton Live Suite and in the window that appears, click “No internet on this computer”.
From the window that appears, copy “Your hardware code”.

Note: when you click “Save”, you can get a text file with the code.

Run Ableton_KeyGen.exe, paste the copied code, click GENERATE
and save the resulting Authorize.auz file.

Drag the resulting file into the registration window “Authorizing your software offline”

Note: If you cannot drag the license file into the program window, then close Ableton Live Suite and run the resulting license file using (“Open with”) Ableton Live Suite.

You can update (after updating, if necessary, place the file vcruntime140_1.dll back into the folder with the installed program)

Note:
If your registration has failed, check if your antivirus has deleted the file vcruntime140_1.dll from the program folder. If so, add the program folder to the antivirus exception and return the deleted file.
