The DNX-03 is a three-way stereo compressor inspired by analog models, with some additional features such as noise reduction and stereo width control for each individual frequency range. DNX-03 is able to split the input signal into three frequency ranges using a 6 dB crossover per octave. Each band passes through a compressor, and then through a stereo processor, where the signal is compressed, amplified, and the stereo field can be changed. The outputs of the compressors and processors are then re-mixed and the signal is fed to the master output.
DNX 03 can be used as a mastering tool or mixer strip.
