Installation

1. Press Win + R on your keyboard to open the Run dialog box.
2. Type %APPDATA% and press Enter or click the OK button.
3. Go to the folder af854ba56b229a56c422472ee764eba8 (Don’t have such a folder? Then create it.)
4. Place the license file 9f86d081884c7d659a2feaa0c55ad015.lcs in this folder BEFORE you open the application.

A new benchmark for bass
SubCulture is a new type of plugin for processing bass and more.

It uses advanced pitch tracking technology to generate subharmonics that perfectly match any monophonic signal, avoiding subsonic frequency conflicts.

While other bass enhancers offer a static frequency boost or rudimentary pitch shift, SubCulture is built on a fully adaptive architecture. The entire processing chain adapts to incoming pitch information to create the purest and deepest low frequencies available today.

Mixing with Incredible Lows.
One of the most challenging tasks in professional mixing is achieving a full, low-frequency sound that translates well across all speakers. SubCulture simplifies this task with an advanced pitch-adaptive architecture that helps avoid subsonic frequency conflicts. The plugin combines three core mechanisms:

• Sub Layer mixes a perfectly tuned subharmonic layer of the input signal with frequencies two octaves below or above the original.
• Root Boost is a pitch-tracking EQ process that follows the fundamental frequency of the bass to emphasize the key frequency area of ​​each note.
• Resonance is a parallel filter network modeled after a classic analog circuit that adds warmth and harmonics, emphasizing the tracked pitch.

A Complete Set of Bass Processing Tools
We designed SubCulture to be the only plugin you need for bass processing. It includes all the necessary processes for creating a rich low-frequency foundation from any input source.

Once you’ve set up the three bass boost mechanisms, use the analog saturation and compression effects to add harmonics, expression, and coherence.

Finally, go to the mixing section to balance the low frequency distribution and apply global high pass filtering and mono bass transform.

Adding Layers to Any Source
While SubCulture was designed with a focus on subharmonics, it works well across the entire spectrum. Here are some other use cases:

• Make vocals stand out: Adjust the clean sub-octave for volume or the fifth for harmony, and use Root Boost and Resonance to emphasize the melody.
• Create monstrous synth and guitar parts: Add three SubCulture pitch tracking engines in different octaves to dominate the spectrum.
• Bring out the melody in the bass line: Your bass may not need more low end, but it could use more melodic emphasis. Add all the faders to the root note to emphasize the bass line’s melody in a dense mix.
• Self-oscillating effects: Add a 5th or 7th note and adjust the “upper layers” so they sound much higher than the root note – this is an experimental effect that works well on drums and synths.
