Named after the ancient embodiment of time, Chronos captures the eternal and unstoppable flow of infinity. It stretches before us endlessly, and in its depths, light bends and memories drift like distant echoes.
Created by Luftrum and representing some of the finest work ever created by Sonic Underworld, Chronos is a cinematic odyssey of 150 presets developed exclusively for Spectrasonics Omnisphere 3.
Chronos is inspired by modern sci-fi worlds. It moves from the harsh electronic sounds of Daft Punk’s Tron: Legacy to the harsh, windswept beauty of The Martian and the alien linguistics of Arrival, with nods to the tectonic power and dystopian grandeur of Blade Runner 2049 and Dune.
At the core of Chronos is movement. Over 50 presets are dedicated to the architecture of time itself—the pulsating core of sequences, arpeggios, and rhythmic patterns designed to propel a narrative forward. It’s a pulsating rhythm that brings tension, momentum, and emotion to untold stories. Because in music, what we do with time… that’s everything.
But Chronos is more than just rhythmic movement. Within, you’ll also find soft, cinematic pads, ambient guitar hybrids, evolving soundscapes, polyphonic synths, keyboards, and analog synth basses, as well as transition effects and sci-fi effects. In total, the pack contains 150 Omnisphere presets.
Also included are six high-quality desktop wallpapers (see below) featuring the album artwork. These visual assets are designed in various resolutions and provide a panoramic backdrop for your Omnisphere sessions.
