Equinox is a new exploration in sound design, meticulously crafted by Echo Season and curated by Luftrum.
Like the astronomical phenomenon it is named after, Equinox straddles a point of balance. Light meets dark. Soft meets sharp. The familiar meets the otherworldly, and somehow it all seems inevitable.
At the core of Equinox are 128 highly customizable presets inspired by downtempo ambient, sci-fi cinematic textures, and more dynamic electronic genres. The soundset covers a huge range of tones, yet each preset sounds like it belongs in the same world.
The sounds were designed from the ground up to blend seamlessly, their vibrant, sensory quality evoking creativity through thoughtful programming.
Dune’s powerful engine and razor-sharp envelopes are pushed to their limits, enabling the creation of everything from gleaming cryogenic keys to expressive polyphonic synths that range from soft and enveloping to rich and vibrant. Expect silky, lush pads and textures that create complex, shifting soundscapes, as well as discrete percussion and full-blown drum parts. The collection is enhanced with deep bass, captivating sound effects, vintage analog impulses, and crystal-clear sequences that seem to have been plucked from the distant future.
As an added bonus, 15 unique, handcrafted wavetables are included.
This Dune 3 sound pack is fully compatible with NKS. All patches are volume-balanced and feature carefully designed velocity, modulation, and aftertouch settings. Equinox requires Synapse Audio Dune version 3.640 or higher.

- Alternatively, there are already unpacked zip files that can be simply moved to C:\Users\Your name\DOCUME~1\SYNAPS~1\DUNE 3\Soundbanks, and the files from the “Wavetables” folder to C:\Users\Your name\DOCUME~1\SYNAPS~1\DUNE 3\Wavetables.
