Vienna Symphonic Library – Studio Whistler (VSL Synchron Player)

This collection features the powerful capabilities of Vienna Synchron Player and the performance of the Vienna Whistler virtual instrument. The entire sample database has been reworked, updated, and optimized for the signature sampler to enhance authenticity, usability, and flexibility.

Markus Schmidinger, a renowned French horn player and the author of the VI Series Brass I, Brass II, and Epic Horns collections, is also a virtuoso whistler with an incredibly homogeneous timbre over a range of approximately two octaves. He was recorded in our second studio, Silent Stage, a sound system with a focused, controlled atmosphere, specifically designed and built for recording samples. The compact size of this space allows the artist to be positioned in any virtual acoustic environment.

To use, you need R2R Synchron Player .
To use, install everything from R2R:
Move the *.R2RVSLSYN file (the Magic file) to ” %PROGRAMDATA%\VSL\Vienna Synchron Player\R2R\ “.
Launch VSLEMU CacheBuilder ; its shortcut will appear on your desktop after installation.
Then you can simply use the library. The *.syvolume file is a sample file . You can store it anywhere , just remember to specify the path to the library in Synchron Player .
Synchron Player can find libraries in subfolders, meaning if you have several libraries in a shared folder, you only need to specify the path to that folder, not each individual library.
