The suspended cymbals are available in two sizes, 16″ and 18″. We’ve recorded single strokes with various mallets, brushes and a double bass bow. The piatti, or pairs of cymbals (“cymbals a-due”), also come in two sizes and offer single hits as well as various drags, scratches and sizzles. The detailed tam-tam recordings of two Wuhan instruments are ideal for film and video game scoring, as well as for sound design.
