Steinberg presents an updated version of its software designed for spectral audio editing.
The new product boasts numerous new features, including artificial intelligence technology, as well as tools for music, sound design, and audio restoration.
In addition to the new Unmix Chorus module (which allows you to separate lead and backing vocals), the program has also received an Unmix Crowd Noise module (which separates crowd noise from the live performance), opening up more possibilities for mixing live performances. Furthermore, the software offers an improved Unmix Song algorithm, which automatically separates up to seven individual instruments (effective for mixing stems, drums, multiple voices, and more).
The editor also features the AI-powered Voice DeClip algorithm for restoring clipped speech. According to the developers, it was trained on thousands of clipped and unclipped recordings. Additionally, the Voice DeNoise feature has also been upgraded to better handle excessively noisy content.
Other new features include the ability to add files to the Batch Processing dialog using drag and drop (with subsequent selection of export options and visualization of the result as a mix or independent layers); a redesigned graphical interface (new main screen and compact panel view); you can now select multiple layers to merge, duplicate, delete, or group them, and simply drag them into a Cubase or Nuendo project in ARA mode; the Transfer Brush tool (moves content between source and target layers in real time) and the Transient Pencil (for drawing or reconstructing transients directly on the spectrogram).

Bad news : We found that Steinberg rebuids the 4GB “Models” file in every updates till now. We have to include it in the installer ;(
