The original unit is known for its use of 5751 and 6922 dual triode vacuum tubes. It offers compression (3:1) and limiting (10:1) modes with a sidechain (high pass at 80 Hz), and also includes an “Overdrive” mode that pushes the iron transformers!
Ultra-X Mode:
Up to 192kHz models that minimize aliasing and provide a higher frequency response. Incoming audio is resampled to work with Ultra X models, which require more processors to ensure superior quality, closer to the original source.
