Musical Sampling – Trailer Brass v1.1 (KONTAKT)

While Adventure Brass lends itself to bold lines in a traditional setting, Trailer Brass has been designed with more modern and wide-ranging contexts in mind.

We recorded three different groups: an ensemble of ten horns, an ensemble of ten trombones, and the Horde; ensemble with three kimbasso / three tubes, which was aggressively processed for maximum meatiness.

To get the wide, coppery sound that we were looking for, we evenly placed the players on the stage of a huge concert hall. We also spent a lot of time at maximum volume, which is not an easy task. It got so loud that the trombones eventually tore one of the microphones. Congratulations have been issued.

We also included a diverse collection of patches in sound design, which in some cases use copper recordings. Beats, pads, BRAAAM, synth bass, rhythmic drones and the like.

As always, we decided to limit the controls needed to complete the work in a reasonable amount of time. Adventure and Majestic patches come to mind, where you can create plausible copper lines using only your keys and the modular wheel. The library also contains five different graphical interfaces designed to immediately inform you of what a particular patch can do from a management point of view.
