To create Panstation, we started with a free model of the panning mechanism of the venerable Drawmer M500, and then added counting functions from Audio to it & Design PanScan (probably the most famous vintage auto pan and the “secret weapon” of many famous producers).
The result is an autopanner plugin that has no equal in either its set of functions or its sound. A complete overhaul of its predecessor, Panstation 2 brings Audio Damage’s classic autopanner into the modern era.

Auxiliary summing of input channels
Summation of a stereo input signal to mono prior to processing.

Free or host-synced modulation with eleven pan/tremolo waveforms, including all M500 waveforms.
Trigger Control
Audio level trigger with threshold control or MIDI note trigger to modulate effect intensity using a dedicated, adjustable envelope generator.
MIDI Control
Use MIDI note number or CC control to control panning.
Fine Modulation Controls Modulation
depth, LFO time offset between left and right channel, LFO global phase to offset waveform starting positions, stereo channel offset weight modulation, LFO frequency in Hz or fractions of musical measure.

Panstation 2 uses an XML-based preset manager. Work seamlessly across multiple systems, create presets on your desktop and insert them into the iOS version using Handoff, easily share your creations with friends, or create packs of presets to sell.
