Since the release of VOCALOID5 in 2018, Yamaha has been working on a new VOCALOID:AI artificial vocal synthesis engine.
On October 13, 2022, Yamaha officially released a synthesis program called VOCALOID6. The new VOCALOID6 includes support for an AI-based voice synthesis library and compatibility with existing databases.

March 9, 2023 at 9:07 pm1.Install Vocaloid
2.Download and install Windows packages from the above post(Reddie post) and restart your comp
3.Install voicebanks and updates of Vocaloid (from the torrent)
4. Start Menu – Vocaloid SE – Register VocaloidVBs
5. Vocaloid works only as a standalone app. It doesn’t work as a VST in your DAW = at least it is in my case. I’ve tried everything and there is no way to make it work inside a DAW.
Start Menu – Vocaloid SE – Vocaloid6 Shared Editor (it opens Vocaloid as a standalone app)

March 15, 2023 at 12:38 pmIt works, but for some reason when I start a new track, or try to add a track. Only Vocaloid:AI and Audio is selectable. The radio button for vocaloid is not selectable. Anybody else run into this issue, or can offer some insight as to what I am doing wrong.
