KSHMR has quickly become one of the most sought after names in electronic music. His unique blend of EDM and world music has earned him a loyal following and numerous awards, including several DJ awards. From chart-topping tracks to worldwide festivals to launching his own record label, KSHMR knows the dance music industry inside out. Most recently, he released plugins for his fellow producers to create their sounds using his signature processing chains.
Unique Controls:
In addition to the “standard” reverb controls you know and love, KSMR Reverb has several special function panels: Volume Manager, Tone Manager and Special FX. These features help shape the reverb tail in unique ways. This allows your original signal to hit hard and then surgically reshape the reverb to create a controlled sensation of silky ambiance (or much more powerful effects if you prefer).
Volume Manager:
Mute, Decay and Gating controls Volume Manager is the easiest way to create a reverb tail. Set the Ducking Threshold and the reverb signal will be lowered each time the volume of the source signal exceeds the threshold level. Then set the fade time for the tail to fade out smoothly. The Gate control completely mutes the reverb when its level drops below the Gate Threshold, taming those pesky tails raging through your audio.
Tone Manager:
Audio with frequent chord changes and long reverb tails can be challenging to work with. Tone Manager helps remove harsh attacks from the reverb signal, improving its tonality. Tone reset is another invaluable tool, restarting the reverb whenever a new transient is detected, making chords flowing into one another a thing of the past.
Special FX:
Reverse mode continually increases the volume of the reverb tail until a new transient is detected. You can also dial in an extra octave of harmony to enhance the tone. This treatment sounds great on synths and vocals.
Beyond the Standard Reverb:
You know how standard reverb controls work, right? KSHMR Reverb includes all the controls you’re already familiar with (and more). Set size and presence using the Diffusion, Width, Length and Size options. Modulation controls bring a whole new character to the signal by making subtle changes to the processing. DeEsser is a useful regulator; dial to remove unwanted hiss from the reverb tail.
Six-Node EQ:
With 6 fully customizable nodes and 5 shapes, you can easily fine-tune the frequencies of the reverb tail to achieve the sound you want. Whether you want a smooth, natural decay or a more pronounced sound, it’s easy to create a reverb tail for any application.
Visual feedback:
KSHMR Reverb is built on vector graphics with a resizable interface. Live visuals on the threshold and EQ displays show exactly what’s happening to the signal as it passes through the plugin’s stages in real time. This allows precise control, EQ and threshold adjustment at each stage of the chain.
Presets:
With a variety of included presets, it’s easy to find the perfect starting point for your reverb experiments. Named and categorized, these presets can be applied to different types of audio and include all types of reverb, from subtle shapes to ethereal spaces and hard slap-backs.
WA Production are real producers creating creative plugins to help you achieve studio-quality production quickly and easily. Enjoy!
