ARP ODYSSEY

Since the birth of the ARP Odyssey in 1972, it has become a renowned analog synthesizer that has been used on numerous artists’ recordings. However, for a number of years it was quite difficult to find. In 2015, KORG brought in ARP Instruments co-founder David Friend as an advisor and began making hardware again.
The KORG ARP ODYSSEY is a software version of the 2015 ARP ODYSSEY reproduction. We used KORG’s patented CMT (Component Modeling Technology) to mimic the analog feel and sound of the original as closely as possible. We have also added many enhancements that are only possible with software, such as high polyphony and built-in effects. This is the most vintage and most modern ARP ODYSSEY that only KORG with analog know-how and digital technology can create. Be sure to get.

The MDE-X V2 has been redesigned to include Distortion and Feedback Reverb, two new types of high quality effects that allow you to switch multiple types.

miniKORGpic

In the early 1970s, many compact monophonic synthesizers appeared on the market. However, most of them were used mainly by famous musicians who could afford rare instruments, or as research devices in the academic world. KORG wanted to give the average musician the opportunity to experience this new type of musical instrument. After much trial and error, in 1973 the company announced the release of the first mass-produced synthesizer: the miniKORG 700. The simple appearance, which belied its ability to reproduce a variety of sounds beyond imagination, captivated many musicians who loved its unique and dense tonal quality.
The MiniKORG 700S, an improved version with an additional VCO, was announced the following year and has now been recreated as a software instrument.
The MiniKORG 700S for Mac and Windows is a faithful reproduction of the original analog hardware with powerful new features only available in software.
Now you can enjoy the unique sounds and features of this historic KORG synthesizer on your computer.

Mono/Poly

The Mono/Poly analog synthesizer, which was released at the same time as Polysix in 1981, merged previous Korg analog synthesizers into one groundbreaking synthesizer. Although it was a monophonic synthesizer with a thick four-voice sound, it had an innovative specification to also be used as a four-voice polyphonic synthesizer, which was extremely valuable since polyphonic synthesizers were then expensive. He was known for the versatility of creating sound using 4 VCOs (Voltage Controlled Oscillators) in combination with Polysix, such as oscillator sync and cross modulation.
While the Mono/Poly V2 in this KORG collection is based on the 2007 Mono/Poly software emulation, it has been enhanced for modern production environments. In addition to the long-awaited, high-res scalable interface, we’ve added two new multi-effects. All analog sounds and behaviors are realistically reproduced using CMT, KORG’s patented electronic modeling technology, and this latest software delivers the power and vintage vibes you want from a plug-in.

MS-20

Launched in 1978, the MS-20 analog synthesizer is undoubtedly one of the most famous and respected synthesizers of all time. With its fat and gooey sound, powerful self-oscillatory filter and freely adjustable patch section, this huge bestseller from KORG is still popular with professionals and amateurs alike.
While the MS-20 V2 in this KORG collection is based on the 2004 software-emulated MS-20, it has been enhanced for today’s production environments. In addition to the much requested interface with high resolution and scalability, we have added two new multi-effects. All analog sounds and behaviors are reproduced realistically using CMT, KORG’s patented electronic circuit simulation technology, and this latest software gives you powerful sound that only the MS-20 can reproduce.

Polysix

The Polysix analog synthesizer, introduced to the market in 1981, is one of KORG’s best-known synthesizers. Synthesizers popular at the time had five-voice polyphony. This is Polysix. with six polyphonic voices (another voice), was named directly after the determination and pride of the engineers. Sound memory, built-in effects such as chorus, phaser, and ensemble are common features these days, but were considered advanced features at the time, and by combining them to deliver a uniquely fat sound, Polysix quickly became a worldwide bestseller.
Although the Polysix V2 in this KORG collection is based on the 2004 software emulated Polysix, it has been enhanced for today’s production environments. In addition to the much requested interface with high resolution and scalability, we have added two new multi-effects. All analog sounds and behaviors are reproduced realistically using CMT, KORG’s patented electronic circuit simulation technology, and now you can get these beautiful sounds, unique to Polysix, in a state-of-the-art software plug-in.

Prophecy

PCM synthesizers were at their peak in the 1990s, but artists in the club scene were already looking for a more flexible analog sound, hinting at the coming analog renaissance of the 2000s.
It was in this context that the Prophecy was announced in 1995, offering more flexibility and tonal possibilities than ever before. The Prophecy Solo Synthesizer, based on advanced digital signal processing technology and a DSP chip previously used exclusively for effects processing, is now available as a software plug-in with the ease of use, polyphony and modern features needed for today’s music production.
