The VST Live Pro 2 performance support platform combines music and lighting performance management functions with audio processing and music-video synchronization sections. The program is designed to help musicians during performances, making them more convenient and spectacular, and at the same time allowing any plugin and effect settings to be transferred to the stage.
The second version of the package received a set of DMX plugins for controlling light and creating scenarios for its behavior during performance. Light sequences can be synchronized with music, which allows you to adjust the light to the material being performed.
With the help of plugins, you can create not only global but also local lighting. The latter allows you to program certain patterns for specific songs or even song segments.
The program also has a Flex Loops function. With its help, users can make edits to the duration of sequences, loop individual moments and even set the number of repetitions of a particular behavior. The function is supplemented by an automation section that expands the flexibility of the program: for example, you can automate the behavior of the program at specific points in time, similar to how automation works in digital workstations.

Another important innovation of VST Live Pro 2 is the Focus Control function, which is a separate customizable interface with a set of controls. “Focused Control” will allow you to create presets for different scenarios, saving only the most necessary effects, sequences and settings. Thus, musicians will be able to keep all the necessary elements in front of them and make adjustments right during the performance, without wasting time searching for parameters and navigating through menu items.

If the certificate (R2RCA.cer) and Silk Emulator v1.3.0 are already installed, skip steps 1-3
- Install the R2RCA.cer certificate
Win+R > enter certmgr.msc > Enter > Trusted Root Certification Authorities > Certificates > RMB on “Certificates” > All tasks > import > point to the R2RCA.cer file
You can check whether the certificate has been installed using the R2RCERTEST.exe file
- Install Setup Steinberg Silk Emulator v1.3.0.exe
- Restart the OS
- Install VST_Live.msi
Install VST Viewer (if necessary)
Install Generic_Lower_Latency_ASIO_Driver_64bit.msi (if necessary)
