Drum kits are the basis which gives Konkrete 3 a unique sound range and power. To create this unsurpassed sound palette of 5000 sounds, a wide range of techniques, recording sessions, synthesizers, equipment and instruments was used. Each of the 92 sets contains 61 sounds – this is a full 5-octave keyboard.
The sampler is the modern equivalent of tape manipulation used in those days, and is an ideal tool for acoustic research. When it is at KONKRETE’s disposal, the simplest percussion beat can be extracted and shaped in thousands of ways, creating an endless palette of new drum sounds.
Euclidean Battle – An exciting way to create complex rhythms based on Euclidean mathematics. No matter how many steps or beats in each individual pattern, they will always be evenly distributed across the beat. Assign controllers and jam: make no mistake.

Shape and modulate the drum sound – Konkrete 3’s interface is filled with knobs and side modulation modules: each individual sound in each set can be edited independently,
modulated and deformed into something completely unique to you. Each parameter can be modulated using Velocity or LFO side faders, and there are 3 full AHDSR envelopes to form each sound.
BEAT SHIFTER – A step sequencer with a difference. Make beats that move along with hi-hats, bass kicks that really jump.
