Hoard Picked Acoustic is a versatile and flexible legato guitar library designed for Kontakt.

As with the Hoard Mandolin library, our goal was to create an instrument that could easily play a wide range of guitar melodies without the need to switch keys.

The core Master Legato patch is a versatile workhorse, featuring several legato articulations: natural legato, plucked slide (with CC slide speed control), hammer-on/pull-off, and plucked slide, all easily switched via the speed control. We’ve also added a distinctive palm-mute legato patch that has its own unique flavor. Equally

important is the Performance Sustains patch, featuring five speed levels, including two softest for palm-mute and light palm-mute playing, which greatly expands the range of phrasing possibilities.

To enhance the authenticity of your guitar tracks, we’ve included a large yet subtle fret noise patch, as well as tone, breath and movement inserts – all designed to add character, warmth and humanity to your compositions.

For added versatility, we’ve thoughtfully included a few updated and duplicate patch versions to suit your double-tracking needs.
