A composer’s toolbox with built-in effects. Stone is a collection of 16 instruments, grouped by texture and timbre, lovingly recorded and processed to give them unique qualities. These tools are designed for film, media and theatre composers and are ready for immediate use and experimentation.

Stone’s four-layer banks are like a composer’s toolbox, ready to be used and adapted immediately. Shaping the sound with the built-in effects processing allows you to add character or create something more experimental.

  • Oscillate A collection of deep analogue bass tones sampled from vintage and modular synths and processed through a germanium fuzz
  • Pivot A steady cello bow, unstructured cello phrases, granular cello and organ fuzz. Recorded with a close mic to capture deep bow texture and body resonance
  • Fluctuate Includes mallets, beaters and plucked sounds processed through a Uher tape machine
