Pianoteq 8 is a virtual instrument from Modartt that uses physical modeling to recreate the sound and behavior of a piano and other instruments. Unlike sampler instruments, it takes up very little disk space, while providing high realism and a wide dynamic range.
Pianoteq 8 was released in November 2022 and includes several significant improvements:
Dual Polarization: An advanced physics engine that simulates string vibrations in different directions, resulting in a more complex and realistic sound, especially in the lower register.
Revoiced Instruments: The sound of all modern acoustic pianos, the Vintage Reeds electric piano, and the concert harp has been improved, increasing their authenticity and expressiveness.
New Instrument – Classical Guitar: A new nylon-string instrument has been added, which, like other instruments, is based on physical modeling.
New Interface: An updated and more user-friendly user interface makes it easier to navigate presets and settings.
Morphing and Layering: Functions for blending multiple instruments and creating hybrid sounds.
Deeper Control: More options for fine-tuning the sound, including changing hammer hardness, string length, and resonance.
Models from famous brands: Instruments approved by manufacturers such as Steinway & Sons, Bechstein, Kawai, Bosendorfer, and others.
PRO: The ultimate version for professionals, which allows you to customize up to 30 physical parameters for each note and supports an internal sampling rate of up to 192 kHz.
