Powerful sequencer. StepicVST is not just a powerful and versatile polyphonic step sequencer. 8 additional and fully integrated modulation sequencers make it a true sound shaping tool. Use them to automate any parameter (eg filter cutoff, wavetable position, effect value) of your favorite synths or effects devices. With MIDI CC support, StepicVST offers you parameter control for both software plugins and hardware devices.

Template system
Store your ideas in 16 templates. Use pattern concatenation to build sequences far beyond 16 steps.

Scales
Always stay informed with the Stepic scale system. Choose from predefined scales or create your own.

Length of individual sequences
Keep it interesting and mix things up. For each section (pitch, octave, duration, etc.) a separate sequence length can be defined.

Parameter Modulation

Playing chords

Installing StepicVSTv. 1.1.0

1.Copy the “Devicemeister” folder to C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Roaming\

  1. Copy the StepicVST.vst3 file from the StepicVST3_Win_x64 folder to the c VST3 folder (by default C:\Program Files\Common Files\ VST3 )

Installing Stepic MAX4Live 1.4.0 for Ableton

1.Copy the “Devicemeister” folder to C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Roaming\

  1. Close all running instances of Ableton Live and Max.
  2. Copy Stepic.vst3 to \program files\Common Files\VST3 (it doesn’t matter if you have a custom VST3 folder or not)
  3. Copy =(Stepic)=.amxd to your Ableton Live User Library and from there to the Max for Live Midi Effects subdirectory (usually located in \Users[username]\Documents\Ableton\User Library\Presets\MIDI Effects \Max MIDI Effect)
  4. Launch Ableton Live
  5. Go to Categories\Max for Live\Max Midi Effect.
  6. Double-click =(Stepic)= or drag the device to the desired midi track and place it there.
  • If you’re not sure where your Live User Library is located, open the Live Preferences dialog and take a look at the Library tab.
  • The second way to find out the location of your custom library is to right-click on an existing Max for Live Midi effect and select “Show in Explorer” from the context menu.
  • If the VST3 folder does not exist in \program files\Common Files, create it.
