God Mode uses push-pull technology inspired by the legendary 50’s Pultec analog passive tube equalizer, widely used in the 70s / 80s for broadcasting and mixing. Pultec EQ “inserts” the gain for a specific frequency range into its tube circuit, and then “pulls” it back to smooth the frequency response. This creates a sound close to the original, but with pleasant warmth added to the amplified frequency ranges. God Mode presents a modern version of this technique.
