Auddict – United Strings of Europe Second Violins (KONTAKT)

United Strings of Europe is a London ensemble consisting of young professionals from all over the European Union and Switzerland with the goal of promoting musical and cultural cooperation at the highest level.
Why do I need the first and second violins?
This is a very good and correct question that many of you rightly ask!
The perfect balance and the extremely sought after sound of the orchestra has been perfected for centuries. To capture this sonic beauty with samples, each section must be carefully captured … several players, each with different instruments, slightly different tones, subtle differences in tuning, vibrato and in different positions in the stereo / sound field.
The combination of USING the first and second violins in your palette allows you to access this beautiful, magnificent synergy of instruments … which is impossible due to the overlapping of several tracks of the first violins, which, at least, can cause problems with the phase, but, more importantly, hold on your music from its full potential and depth.
For United Strings of Europe, the second violins are especially important, because – in accordance with the way the Unified State Examination plays (and similarly to how many scores are written) – the second violins are actually located to the right of the conductor, and the first Violin is opposite to the left. Usually, many parts are recorded this way, and they have an advantage when the bass is sitting in the middle in the back (you want the bass on your track in the middle!)
In addition to all this – in terms of purely musical / performing – every note on the second violins is new and new performance for the first violins … Each note has a slightly different intention, emotion and musicality. Combining and orchestrating with both sections will increase the depth of your music several times.
