When it comes to reverb, it all depends on the sound quality. Verberate is an algorithmic reverb plug-in that simulates a real acoustic environment with exceptional realism. The first version of Verberate has already raised the bar. Version 2 introduces the Vivid Hall algorithm, which adds temporal dispersion to avoid stiffness that interferes with convolution-based convolutions, while maintaining the natural high-density reverb tails of Verberate 1.
The actual acoustic environment will have slight deviations due to airflows moving performers or movements in the audience. Although these variations may seem insignificant, the effect at the end of the reverb tail is significant because the sound is reflected a large number of times before the reverb tail disappears.
The new Vivid Hall algorithm models these random variations without artifacts such as chorus effects or pitch changes, and therefore is able to simulate the reverberation of real rooms with a higher degree of realism.
