WA Production has released Babylon, the new Synthesizer plug-in for PC and Mac with a single interface page. It includes three polyphonic oscillators with 257 HQ signals with advanced sound shaping capabilities such as FM, RM and AM modulation. In addition, it includes various types of filters. Sounds can be completed with various effects, including distortion, reduction in bit rate and sample rate, filtering, chorus, equalizer, delay and reverb.
Babylon also comes with 23 standards and 34 traditional scales and modes from the Middle East. You can select a scale, key, and see scale notes highlighted on the virtual keyboard. Microtonal tuning is also set automatically. Using a modern synthesizer to play from around the world has never been easier.
This is very unusual for a soft synthesizer: with Babylon, you can tune each individual note to its own frequency and play quarter and microtonal scales. They usually cannot be played back in the standard setting and can be very funny experimental harmonics.
And last but not least, it has over 2,300 professional sounds.
